NACC inspect lunch programmes at eight schools in Pathum Thani
The Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission’s Pathum Thani Provincial Office (NACC Pathum Thani Office) conducted a random inspection of the student lunch and school milk supplement programmes at eight schools in the province.
On March 24-25, 2026, Ms. Apinat Pattanakornsitanon, Director of the NACC Pathum Thani Office, assigned the corruption prevention unit to conduct a random inspection of the student lunch and school milk supplement programmes at eight schools in Khlong Luang, Thanyaburi, Mueang Pathum Thani, and Nong Suea districts in Pathum Thani, as follows:
The NACC officers instructed the school to ensure that the school lunches and milk must be in accordance with procurement regulations. Schools must also verify that the food items match the contract specifications and keep all related documents up-to-date. Disbursements must also align with the actual days school lunches are served.
Furthermore, schools are advised to publicise images of the school lunches through various school channels to promote transparency in the process and allow parents to provide feedback on their children's school lunches and milk. This will benefit students by ensuring they receive nutritionally complete meals and quality milk.
The inspection is part of a collaborative effort to monitor and reduce the risk of corruption in educational institutions.
Furthermore, during this field visit, the NACC Pathum Thani Office also encouraged school personnel to provide comments, suggestions, or observations on various issues related to the drafting of the bill on asset and liability declarations by government officials.
