Notification of the National Anti-Corruption Commission on the Divisions, Functions and Authorizations of Government Divisions under Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission B.E. 2561 (2019)
Bureau of Corruption Barometer shall have the duties and power in the following matters:
(1) To follow, monitor, and appraise the situation rapidly for a warning sign when an incident indicates that there will be corruption in the Thai society and promptly propose to the National Anti-Corruption Commission or relevant agencies for further amplified actions such as raising awareness, organizing preventive activities and implementing proactive prevention measures;
(2) To inspect any matters that the National Anti-Corruption Commission have reasonable grounds to believe that an action of government agencies may lead to corruption or a particular act under the circumstance likely to cause corruption and report the results of the inspection along with opinions or recommendations to the National Anti-Corruption Commission for consideration of passing a resolution for a written notice to government agencies and the Cabinet including to follow up on the implementation according to the aforementioned National Anti-Corruption Commission resolution;
(3) To conduct corruption perception survey once a year and prepare a report for submission to the National Anti-Corruption Commission as well as for public release on International Anti-Corruption Day;
(4) To join forces with National Anti-Corruption Commission Regional Offices and National Anti-Corruption Commission Provincial Offices as a network to work together to survey, inspect, follow, monitor and appraise corruption situations rapidly in order to provide prompt deterrence;
(5) To collaborate with government agencies, the private sector and civil society both domestically and internationally to form networks;
(6) To prepare a report on the results of the survey, follow and appraise the country's corruption situation every quarter and submit the report to the National Anti-Corruption Commission;
(7) To follow up on and evaluate the success and worthiness of operations process and prepare a report for submission to the National Anti-Corruption Commission including to coordinate with the Bureau of Proactive Measures and Innovation for consideration and determination of measures, opinions and recommendations on the corruption prevention and suppression;
(8) To coordinate and perform other tasks assigned by the National Anti-Corruption Commission or the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission as well as to support the performance of other relevant agencies;
