Niwatchai Kasemmongkol, NACC Secretary-General and Spokesperson, revealed that the National Anti-Corruption Museum and Archive was created with the objective of instilling moral values and ethics in children, youth, and the general public. It aims to raise awareness about the prevention of corruption by changing the mindset and attitude that “small acts of corruption are acceptable” or that corruption is a normal part of society. Therefore, the commission developed the Anti-Corruption Museum in a Virtual Museum format as part of the Anti-Corruption Education Enhancement and Innovation Development Project. This project uses modern information technology to present knowledge in an engaging and easily accessible virtual format, making the content simple to understand.
The Virtual Anti-Corruption Museum operates in three systems and is available in both Thai and English. The museum features:
In addition to these activity zones, the museum also houses the National Anti-Corruption Archive and the Anti-Corruption Learning Center.
