The world's top performer is Denmark, which scored 90 points, followed by Finland, which scored 88 points, and for the third, Singapore scored 84, respectively. Thailand scored 34 points, ranking 107th out of 180 countries—an improvement from last year’s 10th place. Within ASEAN, Thailand ranked 5th, while Singapore remained the region’s top performer.
In 2024, Thailand's CPI assessment was based on information from nine sources. The country saw an improvement in several areas, with scores increasing in BF (TI) from 33 to 34 points, PRS from 32 to 33 points, V-Dem from 26 to 29 points, PERC from 37 to 41 points, and WJP from 33 to 34 points. However, four sources contributed to a decline: IMD falls from 43 to 36 points, WEF falls from 36 to 34 points, EIU falls from 37 to 35 points, and GI falls from 35 to 32 points.
The CPI index reflects the corruption perceptions of countries around the world.
