NACC Attends the 12th ACT-NET Meeting

 

          On February 26, 2025, a delegation from the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), led by Ms. Chadarat Anakkaorn, Deputy Secretary-General of NACC Region 1, along with the Director of the Bureau of International Affairs and Corruption Investigation and related officials, participated in the 12th meeting of the Anti-Corruption Authorities and Law Enforcement Agencies Network (ACT-NET) in Gyeongju, Republic of Korea.

 

          The purpose of the meeting was to enhance cooperation among ACT-NET members by providing a platform for exchanging experiences and best practices in preventing and combating corruption. Participants shared their experiences in leveraging international cooperation in cases involving bribery, denying safe havens to individuals involved in corruption, preventing and combating money laundering, and recovering illicit assets.

 

          The discussions emphasized the importance of fostering strong relationships with counterpart agencies in different countries, which significantly contributes to the success of both formal and informal international cooperation. Additionally, the meeting highlighted the effective utilization of various international law enforcement networks, such as ACT-NET, GlobE, SEAJust, ARIN-AP, and ASEAN-PAC.
